103 Vs 103G

The main differences between models 103 and 103g are:

1. Better resolution of the spectrum (7.5% ±0.2% FWHM for 103g vs 8.2% ±0.4% for 103).

This helps in better identification of isotopes and allows for slightly faster accumulation of spectra with sufficient statistics.

2. Due to the high density of the GAGG crystal, the device is more sensitive to high energies, on average by 1.5 times.

3. The crystal has better luminosity characteristics, so we plan to raise the upper limit of measurements in the next updates.
